Step 2: Download Ledger Live (Official App)

Click on the Download Ledger Live button.

Step 3: Unbox and Set Up Your Ledger Device

Connect your device to your computer (or mobile if using Nano X or Stax).

On your device:

  1. Select “Set up as new device”
  2. Choose a PIN code (4 to 8 digits)

Step 4: Verify Your Device’s Authenticity

After setup, Ledger Live will check whether your device is genuine:

  5. Update the firmware if prompted

Step 5: Install Crypto Apps

In Ledger Live:

  2. Allow Ledger Live to access your device

Step 6: Add Crypto Accounts

  3. Confirm via your Ledger device
  4. Your new wallet address will be generated and ready to use

Step 7: Send and Receive Crypto

To Receive Crypto:

  • Go to Receive in Ledger Live
  • Choose an account
  • Verify the address on your device screen
  • Share it with the sender
📬 Verify every address on your Ledger device before using it. Never trust copy-paste alone.

To Send Crypto:

  • Go to Send
  • Input the recipient’s address and amount
  • Confirm the details
  • Approve the transaction on your Ledger device

Recovery & Restoration

If your device is lost, stolen, or damaged:

  • Buy a new Ledger device
  • Choose “Restore from recovery phrase”
  • Enter your 24 words in the correct order
